Bergen’s Timberworks was founded in 2024, shortly after Charles and his wife, Kaylee, welcomed their daughter, Lyla. From the very beginning, the heart of this business has been rooted in family, creativity, and care. Named after Bergen — their loyal dog and full-time shop companion — the company reflects the quiet strength and warmth he brings to the workshop each day. Whether keeping watch over the tools or offering steady support with a tail wag, Bergen remains a grounding presence in every part of the process.
Charles, a Philly native with a fierce love for the Eagles, brings grit and soul to every build. From sketching out plans to placing the final polish, he works by hand in his home workshop, crafting pieces that feel personal and lasting. His designs are shaped not only by skill, but by the kind of intention and integrity that comes from building for family, friends, and future memories. When he’s not making sawdust, you’ll find him out at the park with Bergen, exploring trails, or laughing with loved ones — living the very life that inspires his work.
